Prayer for St. Maximilian Kolbe’s Intercession

O Lord Jesus Christ, who said, “Greater love than this no man has that a man lay down his life for his friends,” through the intercession of St. Maximilian Kolbe, whose life illustrated such love, I beseech you to grant my petitions. Help me to always be mindful of your children in prison that they may be comforted and guided by Kolbe Prison Ministry in their trials and confinement, leading them to conversion, faithfulness, and peace. Help me to learn to love them and all through the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, with the same total love exhibited by St. Maximilian Kolbe. Also (Pause here to mention the special requests you have.)

Through the Knights of the Immaculata movement, which Maximilian founded, he spread a fervent devotion to Our Lady throughout the world. He gave up his life for a total stranger and loved his persecutors, giving us an example of unselfish love for all men a love which was inspired by true devotion to Mary.

Grant O Lord Jesus, that I too may give myself entirely without reserve to the love and service of my Heavenly Queen in order to better love and serve my fellow man in imitation of Your humble servant, St. Maximilian Kolbe. Help me to learn by this example and grow in sanctity, knowing you call us all to Sainthood. Above all, help me to perfectly conform my will to God’s will in all situations. Amen.
