Retreatants
The inmates (also referred to as offenders, prisoners, incarcerated men/women, convicts, internees, etc.) are selected by the prison Chaplains to attend a KPM retreat. The prospective inmate retreatants received basic information regarding the faith-based Kolbe retreat and have expressed a desire to attend a retreat. Their requests will be reviewed and approved by the prison Chaplain and/or Warden to participate in a KPM retreat. Several factors are taken into consideration during the review process to include but not be limited to rules of conduct violations. All inmates are welcome to request acceptance into a retreat regardless of religious affiliation, ethnicity, background, etc. Prospective KPM retreatants will have demonstrated good conduct and a sincere desire to attend this faith-based retreat.
The size of the individual retreats will vary between prisons/jails due to the capacity of the retreat facility, the number of inmates requesting to attend the retreat and any limitations imposed by the Warden.
